Let me talk about me
Most recently an SVP GCD at DDB. Before that a CD/writer at element 79, Leo Burnett and Y&RNY. I've been in advertising for over 30 years. I've won new business for my agencies along the way. Plus more than a few awards. My proudest moments?
Saving the Supercuts account that was put in review in 2012 at element 79. The fully-integrated "Rock the Cut" campaign was the only one we presented and when we retained the business, we produced it exactly as we pitched it.
Re-launching Luvs Diapers in 1995 as a mid-tier brand with the "Live & Learn" campaign at Leo Burnett. The share doubled in the first 6 months. And they are still using that tagline and positioning 19 years later.
Writing "Just what the Dr ordered" for Dr Pepper at Y&R New York in the 80's and seeing it on billboards and in TV commercials long after I moved to Chicago.
I've always put a lot of myself into my work. My love of music shows in the Supercuts campaign. My experience as the father of two young boys led me to the Luvs campaign. And just like the marathons I only started running a few years ago, I am in this business for the long haul. I have the endurance of a super hero action figure
